What schools send

The messages parents actually wait for.

From the principal's office, the gate and the registrar: the three texts parents read first.

POST /api/blast

Class suspensions and advisories

Tell every parent and student at once when classes are suspended or the campus closes. One message to many numbers is a single blast request.

YourSchool: Classes in all levels are suspended tomorrow, Oct 21, due to the typhoon signal. Please stay safe and watch for updates.

POST /api/sms

Attendance and gate alerts

Let parents know the moment their child enters or leaves campus. Your gate or attendance system sends one message per tap.

YourSchool: Juan dela Cruz (Grade 8) entered the campus at 7:12 AM.

POST /api/bulk

Tuition and enrollment reminders

Reminders with each family's student, amount and due date, straight from the registrar's or accounting system. Different text per parent is one bulk request.

YourSchool: Hi Mrs. Reyes, the 2nd installment of P8,500 for Ana (Grade 5) is due Oct 30. Thank you.

No developer? No problem

Send from the dashboard.

Export your list from Excel or Google Sheets as a CSV, with the mobile number in the first column and the message in the second, and upload it. Every row can say something different.

  • No headers needed. Numbers can be 09… or +639….
  • Rows with an invalid number or no message are skipped, not charged.
  • See each message's status in your message history.

One request

A class suspension to every parent.

Pull the parents' numbers from your student information system and send them all one advisory. Tag it with metadata to match the delivery webhooks back to the announcement.

  • Personalized text per parent? Use POST /api/bulk instead.
  • Numbers can be +639… or 09…, and invalid numbers are skipped, not charged.
  • The blast and bulk endpoints take one request every 2 seconds per account.

Why UniSMS

Built for school offices.

Your school's name as the sender

Parents see your school's registered Sender ID, on every network, so they know the message is real.

Delivery you can track

A webhook for every message with your metadata, so the registrar or guidance office knows who was told.

Credits that last the school year

Prepaid credits never expire, and failed messages are refunded automatically.

Postpaid for schools

A fixed rate per SMS, billed monthly with no upfront top-up, for procurement that can't prepay. By application.

Getting started

Live in three steps.

  1. 01

    Create an account

Send your first messages from the dashboard, or connect your school system with an API key. The default Sender ID reaches Globe and DITO.

  2. 02

Apply for your school's Sender ID

Top up ₱2,500 or more for a SID token and submit your school's documents from the dashboard.

  3. 03

    Send to every network

Telco approval takes 7–14 business days. Then your advisories reach Smart, TNT and Sun too, under your school's name.

FAQ

Questions from schools.

Can we send a class suspension to all parents at once?
Yes. Put the same message and the list of parents' numbers in one POST /api/blast request. Each recipient is charged as a normal SMS, and you get a delivery webhook for every message. The blast and bulk endpoints accept one request every 2 seconds per account.
Do we need a developer?
No. Your staff can upload a CSV of numbers and messages from the dashboard, exported from Excel or Google Sheets. Attendance alerts from your gate system need your IT team or vendor to connect the API.
Can attendance alerts show each student's name and time?
Yes. Your gate or attendance system sends one POST /api/sms per tap with the student's name and time, or a POST /api/bulk with a different message for each parent.
Many parents use Smart or TNT. Will they get our messages?
Yes, once your school's own Sender ID is approved, which takes 7–14 business days. Until then you can integrate on the default Sender ID, which reaches Globe and DITO but not Smart, TNT or Sun.
What does our school need to apply for a Sender ID?
A SID token, which comes with every ₱2,500 top-up, and your school's registration documents. If you're not sure which documents apply to your school, email [email protected] before you apply.
Can we pay monthly or through procurement?
Postpaid plans, billed monthly at a fixed rate per SMS with no upfront top-up, are available to schools by application. Contact sales with your expected monthly volume.
Can our messages include a link to the school portal?
Links need your own Sender ID with links enabled. The default Sender ID can't send links.
Can we write messages in Filipino?
Yes, using standard letters. Emoji and most accented characters aren't supported, and ñ counts as two characters.
Our students want to use UniSMS for a capstone. Is that allowed?
Yes. Students can build and test on the default Sender ID. See the guide for students and capstone projects at unismsapi.com/docs/students.
